This is an excellent training tour for 'THE' multistage race at the end of March. Fitness is important if you want to do this one!
DAY 1: arrival
Arrive at the Ripple Hill Hotel in Patensie during the afternoon before the tour. Find your room and have a cold one in the bar as part of your carbo loading. We meet in the restaurant at 19h00 where you can order a meal prepared by their excellent chef. This one is for your own pocket.
DAY 2: cycling
Breakfast is early and we head off to the Elands river turnoff from where you will begin your first climb of the day. The route will take you through a beautiful and remote countryside. Rolling hills after that. Accommodation in a farm house.
DAY 3: cycling

Today’s ride is 82km. This day will take you through many river crossings and if you are lucky you will get a glimpse of the Baviaans Rhino. Buffalo is also a possibility but don’t fear......leopards are hiding in the cliffs. The route takes you past Rooihoek and Doodsklip. ‘The mother of all climbs’ (Combrinks pass) will be part of today’s ride. Rooihartbees and Mountain Zebra surround the hiker’s hut where we will sleep
