3 Days/3 Nights
Experience a mountain bike trip of diverse environment. From the coastal area of Oysterbay, where you stay over at a lodge on a private stretch of beach, to the Baviaanskoof area, to the apple country of Kareedouw. Enter Baviaans from the southern direction and stay over in luxury tents. Meet a group of conservationists who are rehabilitating the local land.
Approximate distance: 58km per day (4 to 5 hours)

7 Day Tour - for the fitter mountain biker
This tour is for the fitter mountain biker. It can be done as a training route for multistage races. The good news is….it isn’t a race. You can take each day at your own pace and have time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. There will be time to use your camera.

The tour takes you from Plettenberg Bay, through the Knysna forest to ostrich country near the Swartberg. You will climb spectacular passes through the mountains where your legs will burn! You will cycle past the Kammanassie Mountains on remote but safe gravel roads and will experience mountain biking as never before.
We will follow you with a backup vehicle and look after your every need while you enjoy the spectacular scenery around you. The route is circular bringing you back to Plettenberg Bay . Luxury accommodation and wonderful food will await you at the end of each day’s cycling.
Approximate distance: 80 to 100km per day.

A Cultural Experience
Cycle through Kranshoek near Plettenberg Bay to meet the Griqua people and learn about their fascinating history. Enjoy a traditional meal and stay over in one of their homes if you wish to experience the true warmth and wonderful spirit of this culture.

Daytrips:
1. From Stormsrivier village, cycle in the reserve, stop for a swim in the river and experience the quiet of the forest.

2. Take a ride over the spectacular Bloukranspass and see Nature’s Valley.

3. Cycle through the Knysna forest where a range of trails await you, depending on
your fitness and skills level.

4. Take a ride over the Prince Alfred pass, back on a spectacular track through the Knysna forest and have a few beers at the waterfront.
